Where do I start inside Mentionkit?
If you just signed up for mentionkit, this is the easiest way to get early wins.
-
Set up your project first. Create a project from the sidebar project dropdown so your mentions stay organized from day one. If you manage multiple clients or brands, keep each one in its own project. You can read more in how to use projects in mentionkit.
-
Add a focused keyword list. Start with 5 to 15 keywords around buyer intent, pain points, and competitor mentions. Keep them specific so your feed stays useful.
-
Choose platforms intentionally. Pick Reddit, X, and LinkedIn based on where your audience asks questions. You can start with one platform and expand once you have signal.
-
Review mentions daily. Check your feed, prioritize the highest intent threads, and skip noise early. Daily consistency is what creates results.
-
Draft replies and personalize them. Use AI drafts as a starting point, then edit for context. Short, helpful replies usually perform best.
-
Track completed work in reports. Use reports to show what was handled, when it was handled, and what outcomes you are seeing.
