Any client that supports remote MCP over HTTP can connect.

Do I need to install anything locally?

No local package is required.

Connect the remote MCP endpoint and approve access in Mentionkit. Existing API-key connections still work too.

What can the agent read and write?

How does auth and scope work?

Connect with OAuth using https://api.mentionkit.com/mcp, then sign in and approve workspace access. No API key is needed.

For API-key setup, copy the full MCP URL from Mentionkit settings. It uses https://api.mentionkit.com/mcp?apikey=YOUR_API_KEY. Keep this URL private.

OAuth starts with read access. Creating or reactivating a keyword asks for extra permission and starts collecting public mentions. Existing keyword settings stay unchanged.

Is Mentionkit MCP available on all plans?

Yes. MCP access follows the same API availability model across Mentionkit plans.
