Auto-tagging, reworked relevance score and more

We’ve added auto-tags to Mentionkit!

From now on whenever a mention is tagged, we’ll set tags on it. These tags are:

  • positive: mention has a positive sentiment over the currently mentioned brand or competitor
  • negative: mention has a negative sentiment over the currently mentioned brand or competitor
  • alternatives: someone is asking about alternatives in your niche
  • comparing: someone is comparing 2 or more products in your niche
  • promotional: someone is promoting their own brand/product
  • insight: someone has made a really insightful post

Updates to Relevance score

We’re also made some updates here too. Our system now categorizes the relevance score as a urgency meter. The higher the number the more it demands your attention.

From now on, 4 and 5 relevance score are gold if you want to check mentions and are on a tight schedule. 3 is good if you have some time for digging.

And combine it with the auto-tag filter, you can now also pinpoint specific mentions, eg people talking negatively about a competitor, people asking for alternatives, etc.

This should bring the signal-to-noise ratio significantly down.
